Wedding Fayre fun!

Now that the buzz of wedding fayre season has started to die down; we get chance to look back on all the fabulous events we’ve been privileged to take part in, and the lovely brides we’ve met along the way! This year we showed our gorgeous gowns at 3 fayres within weeks of each other, meaning it was very important to us to vary the styles of gowns on display at each!

Our first fayre was at Ryecroft Hall in Audenshaw, a real hidden gem so close to Manchester city centre! We decided to go for lots of lace detailing and simple silhouettes for this display, many of the gowns were classic bridal styling each with unique modern touches. All except for our show stopping caramel coloured princess gown, modelled beautifully by Laura! A true ball gown shape with sheer crystal bodice and a skirt that never stops shimmering, this gown is truly fabulous and definitely caught peoples eye as they walked in the room! Our 3 models all wore very different gowns; with Holly in a soft lace and tulle fit and flare, which perfectly complimented her petite proportions! And Charis in a slightly boho style gown with fitted underlay and a unique sheer outer skirt, giving you 2 silhouettes in 1! It was a great day chatting to brides (whilst their partners were sent out of ears shot) and to top it off we got to explore the venue a little at the end of the day. We got some absolutely fabulous photos, head over to our facebook or Instagram to see more!

The next fayre was at The Village Hotel in Cheadle, this stylish hotel mixes modern with classic and the rooms can be styled exactly to your taste. We decided to heavily feature one of our new designers, the fabulous Kenneth Winston, and showcase some of the stunning new additions to our boutiques collection. Covering the floor in black organza, crystals and candelabras; the stand had a glamorous and luxurious feel! With the mannequins featuring smooth satin, oyster coloured lace, ruched and ruffled tulle, all totally unique; we decided to style the models in 3 complimentary gowns. With Holly and Laura both modelling unique gold and ivory lace fishtails, and Charis wearing another one of our stunning coloured princess gowns! The overall look of the stand was stunning and we had so many compliments. We even took over the twinkling dance floor for some mini catwalks and photos (and some dance moves at the end of the day!).

Our final wedding fayre was at Denton Golf club, a lovely venue with stunning views and a well sized reception room. As the sun was shining we decided to embrace the weather and styled the stand with pompoms and flowers to celebrate the start of spring! This time we went without a particular style in mind for the gowns and decided to try and show each aspect of our collection. The stand featured: an awe inspiring fishtail gown with sheer sides and amazing train, A boho-glam floaty gown with embellished top, a laced detailed full A-line gown with optional plunging neckline and a long sleeved fishtail gown with matte lace and illusion back. The models again wore 3 very differently styled gowns, all slinky silhouettes but with very different styling in mind. Laura wore a soft lace fit and flare which we styled with a heavily beaded shoulder piece to transform into a glamorous evening look. Holly wore a stunning exaggerated fishtail gown with soft lace bodice, sheer back and bardot neckline (the crowds favourite of the day). And Charis wore a high neck slinky lace gown with open back and amazingly comfy stretch lining! This was by far the most varied stand of the 3 fayres which we did and we found that every bride who visited saw a dress they loved! We even had time at the end of the day to go outside and see the fabulous High Style Wedding cars and snap a few more pictures for our social media pages. Be sure to check them out!
